wants a small car and automatic and a smooth ride and good mpg and reliability
doesnt want a fast car but not a slow car. isnt into street racing ! just a car to get me places.
my brother died in a car accident due to drunk driving and speeding :( so im taking this very seriously
my parents are making me get my brothers 2000 nissan sentra ( i dont know which trim it is but it has leather seats & the spoiler & he got a new audio xm radio). and then a brand new car when i graduate high school most likely
he got a 2008 nissan altima 2 years ago now but he doesnt even use his sentra unless his altima is in the shop.
why or why not is this a good first car for me ?

even if i dont get a brand new car when im out of high school will the sentra be able to last 4 more years for college ?

Question about parking on a hill?

I park on a very steep hill at least 3 times a week when going to school. I notice that when I return to my car and am ready to leave that when I switch from P to D the transmission makes a very loud thud noise. Or in other words it feels very forced and you have to apply a bit more force.

This only happens when I’ve parked on hills. Is this harmful for my car?

Also I don’t know if this matters but its an automatic VW Jetta 2004 that still has new car smell due to no one driving it much.

Are driving lessons helpful?

Im a young married adult without a car or license. I have my permit but no one to teach me how to drive. Driving lessons are an hour…is this worth it?

On anverage how many lessons do people have before they pass their driving test if they don’t have a car and are learning only by the lessons they are paying for.

Or just westchester in general
